Deutsche Transaktionsgesellschaft (DTRAG) is a consulting firm specialised on corporate finance and strategic projects based in Düsseldorf. Our service offering is focused on, but not limited to, companies, entrepreneurs and investors in small and medium enterprises (SME) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the DACH region). Our interpretation of what constitutes a SME is relatively broad, encompassing companies within a turnover range from EUR 4 to 75 million.

Why we are different.

In contrast to other consultancies DTRAG is an idea by practitioners for practitioners. Our team is made up of doers – entrepreneurs, private equity experts with international experience and industry veterans with decades of experience – and not made up by theorists.

We speak the language of our clients and, thanks to our experience, know how an excellent work product that fits our clients’ requirements needs to look like. Our team has weathered many crises and can remain cool-headed if the going gets tough. We consistently offer high-quality consulting services in line with international standards for SME companies.

While the focus of our activities is on working with SME and start-up companies in the DACH region, we are, by no means, restricted to this market and are equally happy to advise clients and projects in neighbouring countries.

Our Advisory Approach.

We value building long-term relationships at eye level with our clients and partners. Our clients receive personal support from dedicated contact persons.

In an initial consultation, we get to know our clients’ needs and then work together to develop the optimal plan for our client’s project. We understand that our clients’ business or personal situations can change and can flexibly adapt project plans if necessary. We are happy to continue working with our clients even after a specific mandate has been completed. New joint projects and good ideas often arise organically through mutual exchange, during or after the completion of a project.

For Companies.

We are advising SME (Mittelstand) companies, their management and founders holistically in relation to corporate finance and strategy, with a focus on equity financing, growth projects, succession, restructuring and strategic management decisions.

For Investors.

We are supporting international investors in the search for investment opportunities and the execution, sustainable management and optimisation of investments into start-ups and SME businesses in the DACH region.
